Dr Debrah Hall

Debrah Hall is the Program Director for The Novice and Apprentice Levels at The Monarch School. She received a B.S. cum laude in Psychology, and her M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Houston. She completed her doctoral work at Union Institute and University where her research focused on objectives based education for improving executive functions in children with neurological deficits.

A native Houstonian, she has been an advocate for children’s mental health issues for over 20 years, and was appointed to the Mental Health and Mental Retardation Authority of Harris County where she served a two-year term. She currently serves as Vice President of the International Mind, Brain, and Education Society (www.IMBES.org), and is a professional representative to Asperger’s Syndrome Parent-Professional Information Exchange (ASPIE) of Houston. She helped start the Houston Regional DIR®/Floortime™ network, and is collaborating with several organizations on application of research-based methodology with individuals with neurological differences.
